I like this method because the fields list has a search box, so you can easily find the field you want a slicer for. By right-clicking on any field in the list, you will bring up a menu that includes the option to Add as Slicer. The best method (IMHO) for inserting a slicer is to use the pivot table fields list in the right-hand task pane. ![]() It's basically a custom menu of filtering buttons, and can be used for charts, tables, or Pivot Tables.
